L'accélération des cadences?...pas nouveau le débat. Voici ce qu'on pouvait lire dans Chess Life il y a exactement 50 ans (tiré d'un article de Edward Lasker):
‘This gentleman...once told me himself that he is in chess only for what money he can make out of it. That is why he was always fighting to increase the speed of tournament play – to some such absurd thing as 50 moves per hour, if I remember correctly – because he felt that more “action” would attract more onlookers, and onlookers was what chess needed in his opinion to make chess pay.
